MARCUS JAY clinched the British title with a heat 18 win against defending champion Richie Sampson, as the pair filled the top spots on the rostrum once again. GP Rider Ray France won a run-off to clinch 3rd place. Behind the top 3 Hayden Wood and Boyd Beaton
made progress to the GP Challenge Semis with good performances. 6 riders tied for the places from 6th to 11th meaning a series of run-off
was required, at the end of which Jay Patterson, Robbie Cormack, Brett Harkins and Craig Caffrey were the riders moving to the next stage of the chase for places in next season's GPs.
